Christmas
I like the decorations, the friends and family who come to visit, the feeling in the air, and most of all Santa Claus. (Yes, I still believe!)

I like all the holidays. But I think Christmas is the most enjoyable holiday. I like Christmas because you can get presents and hang out with your family and all that stuff. But I Thanksgiving is kind of the second holiday I like. Because you can eat turkey, mushed potatoes, cranberry sauce, and many more.

That's a tough one as each holiday has certain elements attached to it that make it special.
I would believe Easter, as for the significance.
Yes, people do get depressed around holidays. This is because (I believe) there are heightened expectations of what they hope it will be, and what they believe it should be. And when the reality doesn't hit their lofty hopes, they crash. Nothing can match or exceed a person's rose-colored-glasses memories of happy times. They need to live in the present.

Christmas is my favorite by far. As you noticed, it's so sentimental so a lot of emotions (some of them conflicting) come out. But overall, ppl do try to be nicer to each other (except when they get down to the last must have toy or playstation). haha There is stress, but everytime I feel stressed at Christmas, I just remember that Jesus' birthday should be the reason we celebrate Christmas, not baked ham, Christmas cookies or egg nog or gifts. The food & presents help the celebration, but they shouldn't be the main focus.

People get depressed because Christmas is such a family holiday and either they have lost family members or just not in touch. To me it is just another day. Jesus wasn't even born on that day. I celebrate him throughout the year.
Celebrate each day like it is a holiday!

My favorite holiday is New Years' Day, I don't care about presents or treats. I'm just somehow very happy when the year goes up another year. I always like seeing parades and such. I like to throw rocks at the marching bands' instruments..don't tell them. It's just a very happy moment for me. Another year passed by in my life. I just feel appreciative of my life and how fast it passes by. Parade by parade.
I'm just not spoiled like some people are who only like Holloween and Christmas because of the presents and treats (no offense). I am proud to have a life. Apprciative for being a human. Not that many souls have that chance. We're lucky to be who we are today. We need to be happy for our lives every New Years' Day. I hope this information helped. i'm looking forward to Valentine's Day this year for some unusual reason. i assume in line with threat its cuz final year on Valentine's Day loads of boys have been giving women quite candy issues like a heart shape container of chocolate, chocolate roses, teddy bears, etc. one in each and every of my superb acquaintances have been given a heart neck much less from her boyfriend! It grew to become into so candy and attractive! My fave holiday isn't Valentine's Day. Its genuinely springing up! Its...Christmas!!

I like Yule over any other holiday. But for christmas, I wonder why people celebrate the birth of Jesus by cutting down (killing) trees?
