The display that shows the CD/radio and status of the heating and cooling just suddenly blinked out while driving. I do not have navigation in the car. Interestingly the CD player kept playing for a few minutes afterwards then stopped as well. I am able to eject CD's but not insert or play them. AC/heat still work (even without the display). No other problems, only 30K miles on the car.

I checked all of the fuses on both fuse boxes (engine and in the car), all are okay. Any thoughts?

As a retired Honda Advisor..go to the nearest dealership..you are still under warranty, and also you might want to consider purchasing and extended warranty thru Honda Care...whatever it is..they will take care of you, ask for a rental car, if repair will take more than a day...Good Luck..If you need the nearest dealership, I will be more than happy to tell you..just email me...But if you already know.. make an appointment first, to make your visit more enjoyable..

With only 30K miles, is it under warranty? If it is, let the dealer worry about it. You might need a new AV display unit. Or if there's another fuse between it, and the car's bus, that might be the problem. (Fuses blowing though, is symptomatic of a short somewhere on that circuit.)
Good news is, most AV-type units are remove-and-replace.
Your first move, though is to touch nothing, until you know what your warranty status is.

Some times you actually need to check the fuses with a meter or switch them one at a time. Because sometimes a fuse may not be working correctly even if it looks good. They sometimes break and you wont even know it. It has happened to me several times mostly with stereos but once in a while with other electrical equipment. In most cars the fuse that operates the Light on your stereo usually operates your other lights in your car. like dash lights or interior lights. In your car it may be the air/ heat lights.
