Well, I've lived alone in an apartment for quite a few years now, so no I'm not afraid. Now when I pet sit for my parents, they live in a house, I may get a little nervous if I hear some unusual noises, but then I pray for the Lord to protect me from anything that may come and I trust Him and I'm fine.

Nope. And when my kids were little we would walk through the local patch of woods in the dark. We had flashlights, but didn't use them. This was an area we hiked and biked during daylight hours, so we were familiar with the lay of the land. They do not fear the dark either - I hope this helped instill confidence in them. They usually instigated those trips.
