How does the endocrine system and the nervous system work together?

Hormones regulate the cell activity in our body, secreted by the endocrine system. Some of those hormones are secreted via the Nervous/Neural system but act like hormones and not neural transmitters. All of these secretions are regulated by both systems and keeps homeostasis in our bodies.
