Im looking at video cards on newegg and I keep reading "DDR". I know my computer has DDR2 but I want to Upgrade to a better video card. What do you sudgest?

Has nothing to do with it as long as your motherboard has the proper slot : AGP or PCI-E , then the card will fit.

My mobo has DDR RAM, and my videocard has DDR3, and they work great together.

Upgrade to a card with a higher DDR. This means that hyour video card will share les of the ram in your mother board with processes the application. It you get a lower memry video card, it will depend more on the ram on your computer, slowing it down.

DDR stands for Dual Data Rate meaning they process data twice per clock cycle thus they are twice as fast. If you are playing games on your computer the extra speed will make a great difference so get as much DDR as you can afford.
