I had an eye lift due to health reasons. My ins. paid for it all. My skin has wrinkles between the nose & eyes & a large scar that looks bad to me & very noticeable on my right eye. I asked the optomologist to do the surgery over, and he says I think it looks good. Can someone tell me where I can get this done over by a cosmetic surgeon that lets you pay monthly. I am in SC. My ins. won't pay twice for this surgery.

First get a lawyer (legal aid) anyone who'll listen, he'll demand r
reports from the hospital, and hopefully advise "The College of
Physian's & Surgeons" you are wearing the proof on r face so
hopefully there won't be an inquest. And you may get a settlement "Out of Court from the Hospital" & they're high, you just can't devuldge the amount.
But you do have a good case there Bud.

All the Best,

Did the first surgeon mess up the procedure? It seems strange that a large scar would be left on your face. Did the surgeon warn you that was a possible outcome?

You may want to see an attorney and talk with him about whether there was appropriate informed consent for the surgery and/or if a malpractice claim would fly.
