Right now Kobe, but Kobe has close to a decade on him in terms of experience. LeBron is miles ahead of where Kobe was at a similar stage of development. LeBron seems to be on his way to becoming the superior player.

Kobe version 24. His game has gone to a new level this year as he makes his teammates better and is the facilitator of the offense, taking more efficient shots while allowing his teammates to remain in the flow of the game. Even in the past I would take Kobe, his offense is just as good as Lebron's, but his defense is far superior (6 time all defensive team), and if the game is on the line, I'd want the ball in Kobe's hands above anyone else. Add in the new dimension of team leader and facilitator and Kobe wins hands down

Kobe is the best right now, he's won 3 rings, and is starting to show the world that he can win without Shaq. I'd say in two more years, Lebron will be.

I have to give the edge to LeBron considering he has no help in Cleveland and they are game out from being the number 2 seed.
At least Kobe has a decent supporting cast.

Kobe, but if I was making a team I would choose Lebron without hesitation.
