My sister wants to get a long roll of paper - similar looking to wrapping paper - that can be drawn on either side. It's for my nephew and she just wants to be able to rip a very large piece off and put him on the floor and let him go. Does anyone know what this is called and where a person might find it? Thanks in advance

After a google I've found something called butcher paper, perhaps that is what your sister uses.

First of all...nice heels! ha ha! It is called butcher paper as others have posted already...yet you should also be able to find it in the non brown color...white, and other colors and larger. Most office supply stores carry it in their school aisle dedicated to teachers...if not you may have to special order it through their catalog or online. Most art supply stores have the larger rolls as well that may make sense...and some party supply stores will carry it also to use for tableclothes or coverings for those long banquet table. I have a roll of the butcher paper at home and it has lasted forever...I almost think I got it at Home Depot or Lowes...as I bought it to use as a drop cloth when painting.

It sounds like you are talking about butcher paper. It would be cheaper to go to your local newspaper and buy roll ends or remnants. Basically, you are getting the scrap ends of rolls of newsprint. It would be great for your nephew to draw on and cost a lot less than the butcher paper rolls you could get at other places.

For my kids I used to go to the newspaper and buy the roll ends. Costs $2-$5 and lasts for a long time

It's a roll of paper, and you can get it at Staple's or a similar store.
