Be able to perform C.P.R. on a stranger without gloves?

I perfromed the heimlich manouver and actually had to stick my finger in a lady's mouth and pull the food out... yes , without gloves.. You just do it.. you don't think...

yes. well i did once. a 4-year-old in a hotel swimming pool couldnt swim and the mother wasnt whatching and the child almost
drown.
