Has your daughter begun menstruating yet?
If not, there's still no need to worry yet. Girl don't usually begin developing breast tissue until a year or two before their first period. Even then, the tissue might be very little so you don't notice. Some girls are just simply "late bloomers" and will begin developing later than others.
There's no real need to worry until she hits about 15 or 16, and still haven't developed breast tissue and/or started menstruating.

There is no reason to send her to a doctor. That will only further establish insecurities on her part. Everybody is different with their body, just because you either have large breasts or developed at 11 doesn't mean her body will behave the same way. It all depends on when she had her first period. And even then, breasts grow until you are 21 years old for some. Most girls breasts don't establish their eventual size till about 16. A little 12 year old girl doesn't need big boobs. You couldn't actually call it a blessing in disguise, b/c when I was in 8th grade, the girls hid their boobs b/c boys teases them constantly! Plus you don't need people gawking at her. She will mature at her own, healthy rate. And if she still doesn't have boobs by 21, then maybe you can take her to a doctor to get her implants.

I wouldn't be concerned at all. I wouldn't want to upset her. I didn't start to develop breasts until I was 14. Even when I did they were small. It's embarrassing enough. I wouldn't scare her. 12 is still very young. Everyone's different. My son has some girls in his class; some are developed a little and some a lot. There are still a few with out anything. He's in 7th grade. Don't be alarmed. I would try to support her and help her feel comfortable with who she is. It's not the breast that makes the woman. I wish I had a supportive mother when I was younger. Good luck.

Breast and other secondary sexual characteristics can start developing as early as the age of 11, fpr some it can take as long as 14. There's nothing wrong in that.
Since it depends on mutiple factors like hormones. Genetics and even diet, have an effect. There is no particular age when it should happen. It's only a range between 11-14

I was 17 before I had even a small A and eventually got breast implants... but thats just me. She should show signs of a "breast bud" soon though that is when the nipple becomes slightly darker and the breast begins to bud out. look online for tanners developmental stages. Theres a site too that you can look online for. Bottom line though dont worry

No, some people just develop late. Even when they dont get their period. Breast grow as soon as the body is ready. Age has nothing to do it with. Hormones are the ones in charge and as soon as the hormones are ready and mature then the development starts. I mean i know girls who got their period at 8 yrs of age i know girls who got it until they are 18. So dont worry about it she's just a late blommer.

My daughter was 16 years old before she had her monthly cycle
and she didn't have anything she was as flat as board front and back the doctor said she was a late bloomer. But baby, then she did come It was all at once and I must say she is sharp up nicely
So dont worry nature knows what to do and when to do. Take care,
and one summer she'll have more than you want her to have.

Age at 12 is too far away from developing breasts. Wait for another 3 to 4 years she will be heavy with them

I didn't get my period until I was 14. My best friend at the time got her period at 16. I started to get breasts at about 14 and was HUGE almost overnight. My friend is now in her mid thirties (I think she's STILL waiting to get breasts.) LOL Everyone develops at their own pace. If she's active, or in sports, it might take a little longer also.
