They should have never been sent there in the first place. Yes, we need to get them home. But we can't just pull out of there all at once or the place will fall apart and God knows who will end up running that country. We have Bush to thank for taking us in this direction. It sure would be nice to have a president with some wisdom.

Bringing the troops home without certain objectives, related to the stabalisation and security of Iraq will be a waste of the lifes that have fallen, trying to achieve those objectives.

Yes, they should. I saw on the news earlier about that new hospital that opened in Texas. 18,000 plus men and women (our troops) have been seriously injured in that war. Faces blown off, legs and arms missing, and in some cases not just one but both or even both arms and legs. How much more should we be willing to accept.

IMHO they shouldn't have been there in the first place, at least NOT without a very well worked out plan of action, which is totally missing in this war.
Sure, they caught Saddam, but what else is there achieved, except for countless and, needless loss of lives??

i would love to see the troops come home ,,, but if they do the terriosts will come back with revenagance,,,
