Can the THC in pot affect the result of a pregnancy test or cause a miscarriage at the very beginning stage of pregnancy?

Also, I don't do drugs. And I am not pregnant. This is for a friend who had a miscarriage at 7 weeks. She use to do that stuff everyday. And I was just thinking that maybe it was drugs that killed her fetus. I just wanted some other opinions.

Drugs would not affect the result of a pregnancy test. Smoking of any type, and especially drugs, would increase the chance of a miscarriage. Although lots of women miscarry at around 7 weeks for no reason at all. It's not possible to pinpoint the exact cause.

No THC won't change a preg. test. however it still can't be proved wheater THC will cause a miscarriage. Best to avoid any all drugs

i dont know if it can cause a miscarriage, but it can cause birth defects.
i dont think the thc will change the result of a pregnancy test. if the pregnancy hormone is present then it will show up... thats what the tests are designed to find, the pregnancy hormone.
i dont recommend smoking pot when having sex and possibly subjecting a child to that. it isnt fair to the child.

NOPE..... The test detects HCG Not THC..... and it will not cause a miscarriage, the baby is not even getting your blood for the first couple wks.....

No, pot wouldn't be able to do that, and it won't affect your baby either, its not a good idea, but it wont cause any birth defects if thats what your worried about, besides that all in all i think at the very least, they say your child breathes whatever you breathe, so i guess it would effect their lungs.

THC will not cause your pregnancy test to come out differently, but it may cause a miscarriage or birth defects.

No it does not effect the pregnancy test although it is NOT recommended using the drug while preg.

Medical marijuana has be approved for use during pregnancy. Miscarriages are very sad, and very common things. Honestly if you can't just be there for your friend without blaming her for something that isn't her fault and she is probably beating herself up over, you aren't much of a friend.

i was smoking weed when i took my pregnancy test and it came back positive and i was pregnant and i doubt that weed can cause a miscarrage.
