Metal is a subgenre of rock, isn't it? I'd have to say rock just because there's more variety.

It use to be calledMetal but is probably called just Rock now- Motley Crue, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and even Metallica
not the metal of today.

Metal, all the new rock sounds like they are going to break down and start crying. It's shouldn't be called rock anymore. Let's call it hard core country.

Rock..i love to listen to music without screaming going on the whole freaking time...but metal is not too bad.it's better than any rap or hip hop...

rock , but not heavy rock , metal is too extreme for me. i don't fell like hitting myself in the head
