yeah its worth the extra two bucks if you dont want to wax your car your self. to be able to really answer this question you would have to provide what color car you have whether or not you park under a tree and if you live where they use salt on the roads.

To the car wash operator, it definitely is. to you, its usually just a second wash and rinse. Sometimes the hot wax is included in the works also.

Other than the wax, you get an underbody wash which is good if you live where salt is used on the roads.

you get spray wax and run through the dryer, not worth it in my book when I can use the manual bays and hand wash it and spray wax on it for $3.50 less and it will be totally clean.
