Small pretzels for a treat ????????

rats can pretty much eat anything. Obviously I wouldnt make this his main diet but, You said for a treat, and thats fine. It'd probably be best if you picked off some of the salt (just to be safe), or bought the non-salted ones but it should be fine. I give my rats treats all the time, cereal (nothing too sugary), yogurt, veggies, hard boiled eggs, olives, unsalted popcorn, crackers, cheese, etc etc. They pretty much like anything, but if they dont like it, they'll take it, nibble it a bit, then drop it because it wasnt good enough for them. ..then come begging for more treats.

Unless they are salt-free, no. Pretzels are really salty and ratties can't handle the sodium.

I'm sure they have ate worst things than that,there's rats out there that would be jealous.

I think it would probably be ok as long as you don't feed them too often and not very many at a time.

sure but less is best actually a healthyer food that my hamsters loved was a small bit of yogurt
