even though you would think it would be 100% protection.. it is not.. the chances are less than one percent with each and there is still that less than one percent...

surprisingly somehow many of us fall into that "less than one percent!" I have six children... I would not change this for the world, but? due to medical conditions, I was told I would never be able to have children (as a teen) and all but one of my children are here despite "precautions" four of those are pill/condomn! one was a different form of contraceptive.... which is one reason people tell us, abstinence is the ONLY 100% form of protection!

it is a miracle whether there is protection used or if it is a planned pregnancy...

This depends if you are taking the pill correctly, same time each day and don't miss any, and if you have had vomiting, diarrhoea, or taking antibiotics or other medications that interact with the pill. It then also depends how the condom was stored and if used before its expiration date. If you have used the pill correctly and the condom is in good condition the chances are approx 98%, but that still leave room for error, as noted many things effect the efficacy of both

its unlikly. My friend gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on dec 23 and she was on the pill and still used a condom everytime. she said she took the pill at the same time every day and she said the condom may have broke once or twice but wasnt too worried because she never forgot her pill.

just to let you know some people on here are full of ****. condoms deffanitly arnt 99% effective. and no matter what you do to prevent pregnancy any time you have sex it is always possible.

There is a 100 percent chance not to be pregnant...
the pill is 99 % if taken correctly and I am sure the condom makes up for that other percent.

people say that chances are slim, which is true, but i personally know 3 people who were born even though multiple forms of contraceptives were used. as the person above me said, the only sure protection is abstinence. the people who tell you that there is no chance of pregnancy don't know what they are talking about.

a percentage isnt really easy to calculate, but if both are used correctly it would be in the .0000-something% range or so.

basically very unlikely, but STILL possible. anytime you have sex, its possible.
