Depends on what you are actually measuring.
On a current account basis, the largest export is clearly financial services; which is American companies selling expertise abroad. Particularly this is helpful for companies who want to go through an IPO in the United States.
The US also exports a large amount of medical technology, software, and heavy machinery.

More than likely it is US Currency itself. I cannot imagine of any other item exported of anywhere near the value of the amount of US Currency already outside the United States.
