My son is texting waaaay too much and the bill is waaaay too high. I'd like to block that feature on his phone. Is this a possibility? If so, how do you do it? It's a Samsung phone with Verizon Wireless.

Yes, I actually had this done to my phone. You just have to contact your cell phone provider and tell them to turn off the texting capability on your account.

Yeah, definately. Just call up Verizon (or stop in the store) and tell them what you want. My parents did it to me when I was a teen.
