You use both hands. Whatever hand you shoot with, you use the other hand to guide the ball.

Absolutely one-handed shooting is the best way. Two-handed shooting messes with your ability to shoot straight.
Place your shooting hand behind the ball with the first finger in the very center of the ball. Place your other hand, which I call the OFF hand (it does not "guide" anything; it just helps lift the ball part of the way up) on the side of the ball. The palm of that hand must stay facing sideways to the basket and should not lift as high as the shooting hand in the follow-through.
As you shoot the ball, think LOCK and SNAP. Lock your elbow to a straight position and snap your wrist. As you finish, think LIFT and FREEZE. Get your elbow over your eyebrow and hold that until the ball hits the basket. Do not drop your hands once you release the ball.

I use one hand to shoot, but the other hand is just a guide to help. Normally if you want to improve your game and your shots then you should use one hand only with out using your other hand as a guide, so your arm you shoot with can be trained as muscle memory. It helps your follow through.

One hand to hold the ball. The other just makes sure it doesn't drop out of the hand while you jump. You shoot with the one hand.

hold your arm up with your elbow and shoulder at 90 degree angles, put the ball on the fingertips of whatever hand you shoot with, place the other hand on the side of the ball just to hold it, this hand should not move when he use your opposite hand to shoot the ball

You use only one hand to shoot, it may sound funny but you do. I'm right handed so I aim with the left and shoot with my right.

Yea I'm left handed but I shoot and dribble with my right. I can dribble and shoot with my left and too, but I just happen to be better with my right hand.
