He is a purebred I am breeding him to donate money to the ASPCA and to help pay for some of the worming and shots of the puppies as that can very expensive and the parvo shots are fairly costly so i will only keep a small portion of the money that will probaly go to a local shelter to pay for dogs so i will probaly end up with none of the money it is going to a great cause

Is your dog an AKC/CKC Champion? Will he ad to the gene pool only positive influences? Do you show your dog? Why do you feel you NEED to breed him?

OR

Are you just breeding your dog because you think you can make a little money on the side? Is he a purebred or mixed?

We have so many unwanted puppies in this world that breeding indiscriminately is unwise and uncalled for.

If you just want to be the owner of a "breeder" dog, then maybe you should re-think WHY you are breeding.

Spaying and neutering is so much better, not only for the over population of dogs, but also because it will cut down on the possibility of doggy cancer and other problems associated with an unaltered animal.

Please think long and carefully before breeding your pet any more. Even if you give half the funds to ASPCA, you are still contributing to the over population of dogs, thus defeating your contribution.

If the dog is CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) than you may be able to register the dog with AKC. If the dog is registered with any other CKC kennel club, you will probably not be able to get the dog AKC registered.

Good job on donating the proceeds to the ASPCA.

If you can get him into the AKC, I'll be surprised.

A better donation to the ASPCA would be to adopt some of the dogs already in rescue and saving them from being killed, instead of making more puppies to add to the problem.

Why don't you call the ASPCA and see what they think of your wonderful plan? You might finally see sense if you hear it from them direct.
