There is a fun book by Clive Cussler, called Atlantis Found, it states that somewhere around 7000 b.c. a comet hit earth near the hudson bay and of course all hades broke loose on the earth, one of the things it was said to have done was rotate the earth crust northward. causing climate changes on all of the continents since they had moved to a different longitude. He claims in his book (which is purely fiction) that Antarctica used to be a fertile land belonging to a culture and race of people called the Amenes, and they were the race now know as Atlantis. who knows under all that ice there may really be a lost city we have yet to explore. I don't know I still want to believe in Atlantis, but we should have been able to find it even if it has Sunk. I am still a believer but have no Theory. i didn't see the show and sad that i missed it. sorry i probably wasn't any help

Wow, Bones has it right. The first person other than myself who suggested that Atlantis was a part of Pangea. Actually Atlantis escaped destruction by means of a trans warp conduit(yes, they are real) into another dimension. All hopes to find it here are pointless. It is scheduled to return when Gaia reaches final ascension which will be very soon.

I did not see the show, but my theory is that when Pangea started to break apart and the "flood" happened (every culture has a flood story, so it is not just a bible thing) that it took out Atlantis and some people were able to escape in time.

i don't watch t.v. anymore. however there was a movie made in the 50s sometime with Alan Funt and Rock Hudson in it, and it was about Atlantis and how certain ideas and knowledge spread around the world from there...it was kind of hoakey, but some parts were believable.
i think atlantis existed, and was destroyed in some huge catasrophy like the story tells us.

Didn't see last night's broadcast , but I may have seen it a while back. You might consider that Troy was considered a myth for centuries. I believe Atlantis has been found.

I have always thought that Atlantis was a myth. I do have an open mind. I will listen to any opposing views.

I saw it and thought it was a good show, but it really didn't present anything new....so I was sort of disappointed and fell asleep about 3/4 of the way through it.
