Shy people are usually the sweetest people you'd ever want to meet. They are usually honest, and loving, and great friends. Shy people seem to love harder, and are loyal and open with the people they love. I have a best friend who is so shy she could barely talk in school, and we have been buddies for nearly 45 years... and she is ALL of the things I described above. I'll bet you are too, sweetheart!

A shy person's life is never out in the open, manipulated and gossiped about. You're a mystery to many people, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I am a private person myself, but I'm not that shy, though.

Some of the best actors are shy. One of the best
talk show host ever was shy, Johnny Carson.
Yes, in certain social situation your probably shy.
But, I bet with your closer circle of friends and
family you inner self comes out then you sparkle
like a diamond. It may take years but you will
get less and less shy over time. I did. good luck.

The reason i like being shy (i'm not really i use it as an excuse) is that if i don't like someone, i use the shy thing as a reason not to speak to them.
I generally dont like many people i meet, so by taking a step back and not directly conversing with them for a while helps me figure out who they are. Eventually i will speak to them to find out for myself, but then i usually dont like them either.
I Think thats a HUGE plus.

I'm a shy person but a good thing about being shy is that you don't blurt out what you mean or don't mean.
