It was definitely a different movie. However, I think its overall message was that all of our lives are intertwined (don't think that's how you spell it) and chain reactions can set a path for us all. Also, everyone in life has their own set of problems - it's just life, it's how we deal with it and each other that counts - hopefully before its too late.

I really dont think it had a strong message, but I'd have to say: tolerance for other people, busy society with no time to spend with the family, and it deals with the connections we all humans have even if we are from different races. By the way, this a C+ movie since his previous works deal pretty much with the same topics. Amorres Perros, 21 Grams, so there's nothing new on this one. If you really want to see a powerful film go and see
'pan's labyrinth' then you will be able to distinguish between a C+ movie and an A+ movie.

I thought it was an excellent movie if a tad overlong, some of the scenes weren't necessary but that didn't diminsh the experience.
I think the message was to listen to people. If everyone in the film had better communication with each other perhaps they wouldn't have fallen into the trap holes that they did.
