Which ultrasound test is most accurate?

What do you think which ultrasound test is more accurate?

I had some of them and they all showed different terms... It's interesting..

The first ultrasound they do and give you the due date is the most accurate. They will measure the crown (head) to rump (butt) length which tells them exactly how far along you are. If the due date from the measurement is at least a week off from your due date calculated from your last period, then they will use the measurement date. If it is less than a week off, then they will use the date calculated from your last period.

Any ultrasounds done after this initial one are not as accurate. All babies grow differently...some are larger and some smaller. Your doctor will use the date from the first ultrasound where they were able to measure the entire baby crown to rump.

the ultrasounds that are done earliest in the pregnancy are more accurate for the due date. i had two, my first at 6 weeks and my due date was dec 15 then i had another one at 3 months and my due date was december 10th and i gave birth on december 16th. the earlier the ultrasound the more accurate.

-for gender, the later the better and 3D shows the most

what ones R you talking about because I have had two different ones and those are the only two that I would think you are talking about. The vaginal or the belly one?

with the 4d you are able to tell more about the features. as far as diagnostic, the 2d is what is mostly used to determine weight, sex, and deformities.
