I have a friend who bites here fingernails and toe nails dose any one else do this a lot she also picks her toe nails tell they bleed is she the only person in the world that dose it or is there any one else here the same

I bite sum of my toenails but now im getin older im not as duble jointed as i used 2 be so i cant get them as good as i used 2 & i have to put a cut in them with my fingernails & peel them off or use scissors which im usually 2 lazy 2 get.I bite as many as i can reach & used 2 bite all of them when i could reach.I sumtimes file them after ive got the length off.Sumtimes i can get all of them with my teeth now,sumtimes i cant get the angle now.I hope this isnt a sign of things 2 come 4 me!

I've always bitten my fingernails. I never use clippers on my fingers. When I was a kid, I bit my toenails till I was nearly out of high school. As time goes on, toenails get thicker and it eventually got to be too much off a hassle, so I stopped.
That is a disadvantage of biting toes, is that no matter how lumber you are, it is very difficult to get a smooth trim like when biting fingernails. They are normally jagged and I even use to pick the uneven edges to help round them out. Weird habit now that I am an adult, but didn't seem so weird when I did it.
