You could have two Fav. Teams...
Because your all-time fav team and the Home.. Which I moved to calgary 5 years ago so I also Cheer for the Flames... but they are not my fav team.

Pittsburgh Penguins - I've been a fan since 1990. Some of the best hockey players have developed in Pittsburgh.(Mario, Jagr, etc)This years team is going to be something to watch in the future. A young team with a great future ahead! Let's Go Pens!

I'm all about the Flames. Even without Jarome Iginla, they've managed to play some really awesome games (embarrassing loss to Chicago on Sunday notwithstanding), with Huselius' patience, Lombardi's speed and Phaneuf's agressive defense. And Miikka Kiprusoff, need I mention, seems to have achieved goal-tending nirvana. They're just a fun team to watch, with lots of interesting players.

Gotta support the home team, but with guys like Ovey & Semin, how can you not. Love Olie Kolzig, too. What a guy! The Capitals are an entertaining, albeit inconsistant team. Their season is coming!
I like Tampa Bay, too. My first Hockey game was opening night for Tampa in October 2005 when they were presented the Stanely Cup!

The Detroit Red Wings, because they are stacked with power and potential. They have been a playoff contender since the Original Six began. With Datsyuk and Zetterberg on the rise, don't count them out on a Stanley Cup.

Columbus Blue Jackets. I grew up in Columbus rooting for the Bruins, but they let me down. I moved to LA ten years ago and the Kings have let me down. The Blue Jackets aren't that much better, but at least they have the excuse that they are a young franchise.

If you have two favorite teams, you're not a true fan. The one and only NHL team I am loyal to is my hometown boys the Buffalo Sabres! Through great seasons, awful seasons, and meh seasons, even when the threat of them leaving the city was imminent, the Sabres were the team I stuck with. Dream and Believe, baby!
