Small business seminar about 100-150 people attending.

I know it depends on several factors, I'm just looking for an estimated cost.

It really depends on the person you get to speak. You need to find out who you can get and ask how much they want. That's the only way to find out.

It depends on the speaker, of course. Also, it depends on how far he will have to travel (including airfare and possibly hotel accomodations.) It also will depend on the type of speaker you are interested in--motivational speeches, seminars on an specific field or business, and whether the hosts are charging an admission fee for the speech.

Generally speaking, I think you must anticipate a minimum of $500 honorarium and travel expenses for a local person, such as a university professor or local newspaper writer. If the speaker is local, he might do it as a courtesy, or for less. But for a famous speaker you are talking about a minimum of $5,000 , plus travel expenses, and probably a whole lot more for a nationally famous economist, writer or television figure, into at least 5 figures. .I guess it depends on how much of a budget you have been given to plan this event.

Depending on the notoriety of the speaker. their experience, and how far they have to travel, how long they speak, etc...

It can cost a $100 bucks and it can cost thousands! It varies widely!
