I'm 18 and I'd wear it, seriously, I used to wear things like that all the time and still do! Let her have her own style and fashion sense, she wants attention and dressing up like that is one of the best and less destructive ways to get it! You should encourage her creative side and not worry about people judging you by what she wears. Don't worry, it's highly likely she'll grow out of this, if she doesn't-she may be the one to start trends! Not just follow them! THis is a productive and safe way of rebellion. Treasure it while it lasts!

I'm 15 and I think that would look ridiculous. I'd point and laugh at her if I saw that in public. It's trendy to wear a plain denim skirt and leggings, but not a skirt with a ruffle over jeans.

If she feels comfortable in it and you find it acceptable (not too skimpy, etc) go ahead and let her try it out. I think she's got the style a little mixed up (now it's the thing to wear tight leggings under a skirt, or a long tunic/short dress over jeans), but she'll grow out of it.

I don't see it often. But I have seen a few girls pull it off. I know a couple of them had the legging type of jeans. Leggings with a skirt is the 80's trend that is in. Legwarmers and slouch socks bring it all together.

If she's happy, let her be happy. And you should be happy for her.

eww that is sooo not a trend. If i did that everyone would make fun of me. Dont let her wear it. You can maybe suggest to her to wear the jean skirt with leggings so theres something underneath but just not the jeans

My six year old daughter thinks wearing jeans with a skirt is very cool. I think it looks kinda cute (at her age), but I wouldn't do it.

Yes, I see it often. The cut of the skirt has to be just right and it has to compliment the shirt the girl is wearing. It looks quite cute actually when pulled off correctly.

I AGREE!
i think the whole "skirt over leggings or jeans" look is ridiculous.
however it is in style, but it just doesnt work for most people.
im sure she would apreciate if you told her how u felt.
i know i would want someone to tell me if i looked ridiculous before i walked out of the house like that.

it would look a dash wierd surely. in the event that they sell the same denims someplace, merely purchase a clean pair or meanwhile placed on yet another pair of denims. That or despite in case you wore an prolonged blouse like a sort of babydoll thingys it would in all threat be long sufficient to conceal it.
