I am constanly hearing of Christianity in England being politicaly attacked, a crusafix can not be worn openly by any official person, or even an air hostess. Christmas must now be carried out without christian symbolisim! Church addoption agencys are now being forced to accept gay addoption. Can you imagine what would happen if a law was passed that tried to even touch the least an islam belief? or any other protected "minority" in this country. Jack Straw comments on all over body robes and people protest to have in jail! why is it that the church should get all this sh1t thrown at it but all other religions exempt?

it incredibly is a basic concept of the rule of thumb of regulation that the regulation applies to all. the alternative has been made, by Parliament, that discimination on grounds of sexual orientation is incorrect and could be prohibited. (that selection is clearly authentic; yet it incredibly is beside the factor for recent purposes.) If that regulation applies to me, then it applies to Cardinal Cormack Murphy O'Conner too; and the Pope, for that count, if ever he ventures to this usa. How dare they look for exemption from the regulation on the floor that they for my section disagree with it? a touch greater extreme occasion illustrates the factor. A handful of fundamentalist suicide bombers undertake a perverse interpretation of Islam which leads them to have faith that they are able to exact kill and maim - to that quantity, they disagree with the regulation against homicide. yet not undemanding: the regulation is the regulation and that they are not exempt from it. This subject, by the way, isn't comparable to the question of no count if it incredibly is sturdy to allow gay couples to undertake in any respect, that's lots greater fraught. the factor is that the Catholic Church has no authentic to particular treatment in the eyes of the regulation. by the way, it fairly is likewise different from the question of Catholics being forced, or not being forced, to do different issues. Catholic docs could not be forced to undertake abortions, as somebody has suggested. no person is forced to undertake abortions. the factor is that, if such docs do make certain to undertake abortions, they are not approved to refuse to function on a lesbian women persons, or a black female, or a distant places female. If the Church desires to do issues, it could do them in a non-discriminatory way.

well to answer your question as i understood it.why do other religion's get away with so much..simple they still follow the tenent's of thier faith's.as do older people of christian faith's.mt grandmother did the rosary every nite at 8 in latin.{even after the church converted to english}friday's were meatless.saturday's meant confession.{in case you can't guess we're catholic}.but oddly because she was very devout.never insulted another's belief's.you never saw anyone make anti catholic statement's to her.i on the other hand go to mass once a yr.can remember hail mary full of grace{thiers more to it}and have about 10yr's worth of confession i need to do.ppl feel they can make sick priest's jokes.run down my religion and so on.so per hep's it's the devotion level

The Muslims wouldn't submit to the indignities that so-called Christians have tolerated. Because most Christians are so wishy-washy today, they have allowed the anti-religious left in all three branches of government to make a mockery of the First Amendment.

God help the son of a &*%$ that tells me that I can't wear a crucifx, or pray whenever I want to, wherever I want to. Tell them to go to hell!

I have lived in Muslim countries. They can't understand the political correctness of "holiday parties" instead of Christmas parties. And neither do I. I am quick to correct someone when they say holiday party, instead of Christmas party. I tell them that I am offended!

I also make it a point to distance myself from our politicians. I want to make sure that because our politicians burn with lust for one another, it is not a reflection on me.
