some i understand-for ex. Jay,Nas,Dre,Ice Cube,Luda
but others-like Lil Wayne,e-40,T.I.,The game-
i just dont get.
who do u guys think is the best rapper alive any why??
in my opinion, its Nas
his first album was released in 1994 way before many of these rappers mentioned, His debut album, illmatic proved itself a success not only w/ the critics, but also w/ the fans
to this day he is still making albums and hits(Hip Hop Is Dead)
and has proven to be able to defend his title (ie., against Jay)
so who do you think it is and why????

Yall muthaf'uckas are dumb as hell. The best rapper alive is Rakim, but since Rakim and KRS-One aren't actively making music, the tile must go to IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE! If you don't know who Immortal Technique is then you better f'ucking google that name. There hasn't been a rapper who could touch him since 2pac. Just listen to this line "storm the planet huntin' you down, cuz i'm on a mission, to split ya body into a billion one celled organisms. Immortal Technique will destroy ur religion, u stupid b'itch, u faker than blue eyed crackers nailed to the crucifix" Tell me ANYONE who spits like that. And as far as Lil' Wayne, why is he even in the discussion? He couldn't mimic straight lines on an etch-a-sketch with one knob. Immortal Technique hands down. I would probably pick Nas if I hadn't heard of Immortal Technique
