There are a few simple ways of fixing your problem,

If you are willing to pay, then get a maid.

Secondly, if you are not willing to pay and have the patience, then do nothing; go on strike.
Leave the dishes and clothes on the floor tell him its not your job, that you are not a maid, with in a week he should get the picture.

Thirdly you can go out of town for a long weekend with some friends, leave him with dirty laundry, and all dirty dishes, its amazing how some men can seem so helpless and lazy when you are around them, but the second they leave they whip it into shape (or all fails and they order a pizza and buy new clothes)

lastly, you can just remember why you love him and be happy that you've found someone to complete you in this funny thing we call life.

I have been in the same situation and God did it piss me off ! I finally had a sit down with my guy and told him how it needed to be.It would be one thing if he completely supported us finacially because i would think thats the lest i do (to help out and take care of all his needs at home anfter a hard days work). Most realationships today are both people working ya know not so many house wives so that means everybody should do thier fair share. As i see it your goal as husband and wife is to give and take share the responsabilities. My guy can drive me completely nuts as i can do the same to him So Im learning that we need alone time or we will just not be able to stand eachother. I love him so very much and he loves me but dang it there is such thing as to much of a good thing ya know.So every couple weekends or whatever we spend just with the girls/guys and i think thats important and healthy. This also helps us appriciate eachother more therefore when we need one anothers help with something we are more than happy to do it.

When my moms second husband passed away, she said it was the things he did that annoyed her she missed the most. It was the pet peeves that were always there, constant and irritating. But after he was gone, they were gone, the routine was gone. He would always open the garage door under their bedroom at 6am while she was still sleeping, and it would wake her up. After he passed she still woke up at 6am and missed the garage door. Not sure that helps.

Nagging wont help. You two must come to some sort of resolve together. If you want him to do something that irritates you less, you need to do the same for him. Its a trade off. Nagging never works...you have to bargain.

my guy does the same thing- but get this..he makes food, leaves everything out, dish wherever he ate it BUT for some reason he will put away boxes that are empty...never something that should be put away but ALWAYS the empty boxes....I get so tired of planning on cooking something and pulling out an empty box.He also doesnt clean the urine ring under the lid-why should I do it-I didnt pee there! and if I dribbled I surely would tissue it off...men realize that they are pigs and thats why they hook up with girls to play mommy and clean their mess.

Mine cleans up after himself and that's okay, but what does bother me is that 1.he snores (and loud), and 2.he smacks his lips when he eats (it's like a circus going on in there).
Then, he wonders why I'm crabby - I'm not sleeping right and mealtimes are sickening. What's left to enjoy?

I used to feel the same way, then one day it hit me, if he was gone I would miss his messes, its a small sacrifice for all he does for our family. Now when I get annoyed at his dirty socks on the bedroom floor I think about how much I would rather have the dirty socks than him not here.

Talks on the phone to much. Especially the cell phone when out. Also her having pets and not taking good care of them.

I feel the same at times, but when enough is enough I tell him" I didn't know that you had hired a maid"?So I start leaving all my stuff around and he'll begin to pick up after himself.
