I live in Alabama were underdeveloped I want to be an aspiring rock/blues musician but I cant locate a school here to teach me guitar, other states have guitar schools but I cant seem to locate one i've done searchs on the web and found nothing can anyone help me?

I live in Pell City Alabama its located by Moody and trussville and Birmingham.

It depends on what part of Alabama you live in. Muscle Shoals would be a good place to start looking if you are in Northern Alabama. There are lots of recording studios there, and perhaps if you contact some of them, they can hook you up with an individual that knows what they are doing.

That is about 3 or so hours from Muscle Shoals area. Take a day trip and check out some of the studios and ask if there are guitar instructors available.

Don't sweat it- Check out the local churches- at least one has to have a contemporary praise music group- there's a real good chance that one or more of the members teaches on the side. Also, if you're close to a community college or university, they either offer group lessons or can point you in the right direction. Finally, if there's a nonprofit community music school in the area, they tend to be oriented towards marching band and/or orchestral, but it's worth finding out if they teach guitar- Good Luck!

there's one on Birmingham's southside on Clairmont. Also a place on the corner of Oxmoor and Central Avenue in Homewood.
