my paper is about taking a three day trip to New Orleans, New York, and Disney World, and spend three days at each. My thesis statement is: The best places to spend a vacation are New Orleans and New York City, where as the place I would least prefer to travel would be Walt Disney World. My teacher wants this as the last sentence in the intro

First of all, you need to check your grammar and spelling, because it is difficult to read and understand your thesis sentence.
I thought that if you were writing an introduction, you are leading your reader to what the paper IS about, not trying to hide where you are leading a reader.
I guess I would put and intro statement like this: "Walt Disney World is a great place for many people to visit, but there are other more fascinating and exciting places, such as New Orleans and New York. I plan to explain why I feel this way with the following story." And by the way, previewing is spelled that way, not with an "f".
Hope this helps.

Hmm...I guess you could write something like this: For me, vacation is the best time of the year. People like to go to different places for their vacation. Maybe some people go to the same place every time. Others have a favorite place that they would go to for their vacation. To me, the best places to spend a vacation are New Orleans and New York City. Whereas the place I would least prefer to travel would be Walt Disney World.

There you go, hope I helped. Good luck!

Briefly discuss vacations in general. Explain how you will discuss vacations in you paper. I will discuss the best place to go by , by cost or fun or driving distance etc. It's a big part of thesis writing, that intro. It's where you present the rules that the paper uses. If you get good at that, the rest of the thesis is easy.

Maybe you could start the into with a shrot sentence or two about each place then close the intro with the places you would prefer vs not.

Hope this helps :)

first you want to get an attention grabbing sentence that gets the people wondering what is going to happen.like "What type of vacation would you like to take?"( you can use it if you want to.)
