layering is always good. Like a plain long sleeve tee with a cute tank over. Or try wearing long beaded necklaces over. OR DIY your shirts to spice them up like in the latest issue of Teen Vogue they have and AMAZING craft for your shirt.

First try wearing colors that you don't usually wear. Then for layers you don't want to have to many layers so i will tell you that the most popular type of layering is the t-shirt over the long sleeves. Also if you still want to wear those comfortable t-shirts just play them up a little. Like instead of jeans wear a skirt or put on a blazer and a fun necklace over your t-shirt.Another thing that is really in right now is long shirts (like almost dress length over jeans). However you change your wardrobe though make sure that you are still comfortable.

If you are the crafty type and if you have a surplus of t-shirts you can go to the bookstore and check out the hobby/craft section near all the books on sewing, there's bound to be a book or two about cutting up and stitching your t-shirts into funky styles.
Keep your wardrobe basic. Nice jeans and well fitting tops in basic patterns and styles. If your wardrobe is basic then it will be very versatile and you can dress it up with funky accessories (this is the way to look chic on a budget). A white oxford shirt can look very cute over a funky top (a white oxford also looks very professional when tucked in with a belt). Scarves are very versatile - they can be worn around your neck, in your hair, or as belts. Wild socks can pep up an otherwise drab outfit. Funky jewelry can usually be gotten pretty cheaply ad spice up an outfit. Just remember not to overload on accessories (just one or two).
Hope this helps

yes layering is a great way to spice up a wardrobe. you can put a polo under a tshirt and pop out the collar and sleeves. to really add feminine flair, bedazzler your shirt with jewels and paint. or then, u can wear a fitted small vest for a more classy look. and a big piece of jewelry always. hop that helps...

You could wear tank tops left over from summer with a tight zip up hoodie! or you could wear tight t-shirts, I'm not very sure what you mean by "simple t-shirt." Layer a long sleeved tee under a short sleeved one. Or put a collared shirt underneath. And, my fashion tip for you is: Don't wear a mini-skirt if you don't want to!

Try something like a a cropped printed hoodie over a t-shirt, to start off simple. Then, you might want to add a long, beaded necklace and some ballet flats to dress up a t-shirt and jeans. I also like the way a bold tank top looks under a printed, three quarter length blouse. Buy pointed toe shoes, they enlongate your legs.

hey well lets see i have the whole matching thing going on in my wardrobe. You know i will like wear a white undershirt and a red shirt that shows my undershirt. then i wear some cute AE jeans and red shoes, headband, and then i have a white necklace and some earrings with both white and red on them. And you can add a white or red belt.
I mean you can follow this whole ^^example outfit for any color. Most of the time i look on Forever 21, American Eagle, Hollister, Abercombie & Fitch, ect. and see what they put together!

I wear deep v-neck shirts in various colors [white, black, teal, pink, blue, green...ect] with a coordinating cami underneath.
Also, Aeropostale has some really cute short sleeve v-neck v-neck shirts which I live in during the summer, with a cami underneath.
Also, Henleys are great, theyre easy and cute.
You can get all these at Aeropostale && Old Navy for pretty cheap.
Good Luck!

Layered tees are always cute. But you have to remember that you can turn the simplest clothes into the cutest clothes. Try accesories like a belt, or a long necklace. I always think that accesories dress you up.
