Most women are in women only facilities however there are small number of co-ed prisons, with the women just housed in separate areas.

Women have their own prisons, they are classified then are sent to a certain prison depending on their crime or detainers. There are maxium security prisons just like the men have. Then there are some who actually can work on the outside. And then medium security.

women's prison, otherwise there'd be all kinds of sex going on in the prisons. hmmm.......maybe that might help the prison conditions.
