I do not know the previous owner. The truck looks to be well taken care of. The seller will take no less than $6k for it.

KBB says retail $7k. Private party $5600. So $6k is not really out of the park. I'm just not sure.

Get the VIN number and pull a Carfax report.
http://www.carfax.com/
It will cost a few bucks, but it's better than buying a car that's been flooded.

It's a Chevy it's built like a rock Ok OK it's got a lot of mileage to go is it stander trans or automatic if it's a five speed manual they did have a problem with the top bearing in the trans and around that mileage they go bad if it a automatic and fluid has been change and looks good it's got mileage left. i will say it the 5.7 motor good Strong motor no major problems. to put it short if the truck look good and drives good it's proble a good truck but no one can make that dissension except you good luck

That's too much. Even in excellent condition and with a 350 (5.7 liter V-8), power windows and locks, and with a sliding rear window, the truck is only worth about $5700. Keep looking.

i own a repair shop and that's a lot of miles to have on a truck, the price is a little high also, considering the mileage. on it,its up to you ,but i wouldn't be comfortable paying this much for it,and that many miles on it,,i know trucks are high right now,but that's too much money and miles,if your desperate for a truck ,and have to have one it would pay you to look around some before buying it,good luck,i hope this help,s.

159k miles is no big deal at all for a modern full size Chevy or Ford truck. Most will go well past 250k with any maintenance at all. $6,000 seems a bit high, but if you like the truck then go for it.

check out www.kbb.com it will tell you what that truck is really worth.. which i'm sure is less than the 6k hes asking for.. make sure you choose private seller (on the site)- thats the most accurate value of what you should really expect to pay for it...

For 6 thousand you could get something newer with less miles on it, trust me through experience, try not to rush a car search it will be well worth the time it takes to shop around....
