Ivoy is lighter than vanilla.
its a slightly darker shade than white almost like creme.
There arent differnt shades of ivory
but there are different shades of cremes,
ivory is one.

hmm...Ivory is a light creamish white with a very, very light hint of purple and yellow. Yes It is similar to a vanilla color. But I don't think there are different shades of ivory.

Ivory is a dark-green-vanilla color. There are light shades and dark shades.Maybe the color of most plants.

A very pale white (think elephant tusk) is the color of ivory, though I'm sure there may be different variations on the shade.
