hey, we're in synch ;-)
microwave a moist towel, 30 seconds at a time so it doesn't get too hot, put directly on your lower abodomen. the moist heat penetrates deep and is really effective, more so then any meds i've tried.

if your like me.. nothing really works. I've tried tons of asprin but nothing, the only thing that really works for me is taking a nice hot bath and just relaxing. If you have a boyfriend or someone in your family that would be able to rub your lower back try that also. I've also heard exersize.. but who really wants to do that when your feeling all cramped and bloated? Oh and try hot cocoa or chamomile tea. They are both really warm and the tea will make you tired and relaxed so you can sleep the pain away. Good luck. Being a girl sucks huh!

Nice! Here are some things that always work for me: take some Midol, Tylenol, etc when you first feel the cramps. Placing something warm on your lower belly also feels really good (like a heat pack, or even just your hand if you're in school and don't want to carry anything around). Good luck!

midol or pamprin i prefer pamprin, take a nice long hot bath, put a heating pad or hot water bottle over lower abdomen, eat chocolate. chocolate really can help make you feel happier. put in a super tampon and go for a good run or jog. I've been told getting up and moving helps relax muscles and there for relieve cramping for a little while.

Place your knees on the floor with your feet tucked under your butt, and the front of your lower legs flat against the floor. Then lean over your knees and try to place your forehead on the ground. The position should be comfortable, and not strained. It is a natural way to open up a passage for easier blood flow.

It may be oldfashioned with all the modern new meds to take but a couple Midols and a cup of hot lemon tea still works fine!!

i would suggest to try to lay down if u can. and i know this is going to sound rly silly.. lol but sit on the sloor or your bed with your knees up to your chest. or you can lay on your back in a fetal position. if that doesnt work.. or even do it anyway.. take a motrin 800 or something like that. this should help.

Don't worry. I'm 11 and I had it like 3 times. Anyways, you only get cramps when the time comes. And trust me, it is not pretty!! It hurts like hell!! (Sorry 'bout the language). All I'm saying is, when you get the cramps in your ribs, just rest and try not to stretch or sit up straight, or else it'll hurt so bad!!!!
