i think what you are looking for is called a cincture. the only form of cincture that i could find is with the male form of dress for clerical purposes. but, it could be the same name for the female.

The belt worn as part of a religious habit (male or female) is called a cincture. The one with the knots is usually called a "Franciscan chord". The knots represent the vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience.
