I used to have an ugly old Ford Fairlane but it I really loved it and it got me where I needed to go. I called it my Albatross.
Edit: (My great grandma gave it to me.) My old dump bucket was the color of a copper penny and it had metal blinds in the back window. But, you know what? I was cool. I was 16 and one of the only kids around with a car. I ended up selling it to pay for books in college. The guy that bought it from me was a friend and he blew the engine. What a good question. Wow does this bring back memories.

I had a blue CATaline named for my favorite blue cat..Ol Bloo. That car was a 78; I bought it in 94 with 70,000 miles on it...sold it with 130,000... dang thing is STILL running around Texarkana. I keep seeing it. Should have kept it!
Most of my cars have names that aren't useable on Y!A and consist of several 4-letter type words strung together.

I am not a group joiner nor an elite person but I name all my vehicles... right now I have a "Galileo", a "Bleu" (as in bleu cheese), a "Biff", a "Vern" and a "Vetty".

most of our cars through the years have had names that truly fit the cars.....smoky the oilsmoburner, the turd-mobile, scooter, to name a few....
