Hi - my brother and a couple of friends are having a Superbowl party (we've watched every one since 1985 actually - could say we're fans!), and were wondering what's the most 'typical' American food to get involved in?

We usually get donuts, chips, Budweiser but we've never really stretched it further than that. Any suggestions for a more 'authentic' menu for our Superbowl-fest? (Think we've found somewhere in England that does corn-dogs if that helps?!).

Cheers - and have a good night if you're watching too!

Paul

Here in Texas it will be hot wings--salsa and chips--beer--a couple of sandwich footers from Subway chopped into smaller sizes and of course pizza and more beer and also with the hot wings some sauces for dipping.

Good Superbowl party snacks are sausage slices in bbq sauce, shrimp wrapped in bacon, chips and quacamole, sandwiches out of hawaiian rolls with ham and cream cheese, baked pork and beans, chili and cheese dip.

You can make it all at home VERY easily, no complex recipes.

Have fun!

Beer
Tostitos and Picante Sauce for dipping
Spicy Chicken Wings and Ranch Dressing
Cheese nachos with jalapenos
Chili con carne if you really want to go all out.
If there are going to be women then you will need wine and artichoke or spinach dip.

The orange cheesy doritos are basically the comparable right here as there, and so are the ranch flavour ones. you may serve it with guacamole, bitter cream and salsa. I used to purchase all of those at Sainsbury's as quickly as I lived in East Sussex. only in case you have never made guacamole- - mash a ripe avocado - upload a dab of minced or mashed garlic - a chopped, small tomato - a jalapeno, chopped (non-obligatory) - cilantro (non-obligatory) - chopped crimson onion (non-obligatory) - lime or lemon juice (to maintain the colour superb and green) Burgers and fries with ketchup are a staple in case you want warm nutrition; you additionally can cook dinner rooster wings and serve them with a warm sauce like Franks crimson warm or Tobasco. i think of we've been given 'McCain' type frozen wings together as in the united kingdom. beverages? you ought to get Budweiser or such, in spite of the undeniable fact that it tastes like ****. I dislike American beer, alongside with all my acquaintances, except that's a physically powerful microbrew, and could probable stick to eu beer and the stable previous shaped American soda pop staples - Coca Cola, Sprite, Pepsi, 7 up, root beer. you ought to serve, for candies, something regularly American like a chocolate brownie from a blend or pre-made. i could grant a recipe, yet i've got not had success making tarts at homestead.
