Yeah, no. I know all those scientists can give me all that crap about it, but let's just think about this for a second. Have you ever seen a time line of the earth? It has enormous periods of time and then it's human civilization with about an eighth of an inch. Is the earth exactly the same as it was billions of years ago!! No! Everything shifted, the weather changed!! How can we possibly believe that we would have that much impact on something that has been here for so long and we for so little. AND remember that a while back, hippies were freaking out about "global cooling."

For some reason the world population is completely ignorant of the global climate change that has occurred and reoccurred time in and time out. Has everyone forgot that we had an ICE AGE all without the help of man.

I belive its a non issue, there is no real proof that any warming trend is not part of a natural cycle. I take it as all the other warnings science has come up with. Bacon is bad for you, eggs are bad for you etc etc. Science is not perfect by far. I think the global warming is just a theory. As all science is until proven without a doubt.

Here it is. The earth will slowly change it's climate whether mankind lives on it or not. Harken back to the end of the 'little ice age' in the mid 19th century. Seems natural to me that it is still warming up from that.

not an issue for your or my generation however given 3 to 4 generations will reap the rewards of our thoughless ness..

this being said government should make it easier to protect the enviroment not to mention the various different ecosystems and animals in the world.

for example there has been an engine the runs on water alone developed to a standard it is competitive with a standard petrol/ deisel engine, this design has been around since the mid 50's however government which lets face it are dictated what to do by big business refuse to back any ideas to introduce it, because the oil companies will be hit with massive profit losses, I guess that the oil companies provide major contributions to government and their election campaigns.

anyway my rant again.... sorry...

I am sort of glad people think it is a man-made phenomenon because it might encourage people to do something good for the environment. Is it real? Probably just a cycle. It's snowy here and very cold. Brrrr.
But I guess global warming is responsible for hot weather and cold weather...hehe

Not NEAR The issue that AlGore wants you to believe it is.

10 years ago they were complaining that those little bottles of white-out were depleating the ozone layer ...that didn't fly, so they came up with this global warming issue.

I live in the desert and this has been the coldest winter for over 20 years ... GLOBAL WARMING !?!?

Trust me, we have MUCH bigger things to spend our time and efforts on.

I believe , with most of the world that its real. But big oil and other industries that control the USA and congress wont let anything happen that will hurt thier profits. Even if in the end thier grandchildren have no world.

"I love global warming" and I even had a t-shirt made that says that!
If you want to stop global warming, you will have to put out the Sun! THe Sun is the cause of global warming. Not Man!
