If you have please allow me an 11 year-old to ask a few questions. I'm very stressed about this and Akeelah could do it so why can't I. If any one has some study or any other advice I would be grateful:)

You're probably in elementary school right? If you are you probably won't get hard words and it will be ok. If you're in middle school like me there are probably older kids participating and it might be a little harder. Last year I was in my county bee and it was way more difficult than my school spelling bee. Study hard and concentrate. If you do make it to your county bee study all the language tips and practice a lot. And don't get nervous. It is hard but try your best.

You should try studying the spelling list from past spelling bees.

A spelling bee....A line of students line up and someone
ask how do u spell this...and it goes down the line.
If a person spells wrong, he or she is out of the game
until the last person is standing and they are the winner.
