Abortion is a medical procedure that should ONLY be discussed btwn the woman & her doctor. Ive no right to infringe in her privacy. I wouldnt want anyone to violate MY rights & dictate my health concerns. Ive no right taking away a persons rights, born/unborn.

Im AGAINST abortion.I DESPISE abortion & if I were a woman Id NEVER have one. BUT Im not a woman & wouldnt know how it is to so I wont JUDGE the circumstances of her abortion. I wouldn't know if she was raped, whether the pregnancy will hurt her and the child's health, psych problems etc. Its NOT my business. Its a very sensitive issue. Its a medical issue btwn her and her doctor, an M.D.

Im not pretentious to think that others cant think for theirselves. I have belief in other people & choices they make. To me NO abortion is the right CHOICE, but we have to give them choice first. Taking away freedom to choose would kill the idealogy of what America stands for. Jesus taught compassion & not to judge thats why i'm PROCHOICE

There are plenty of people out there who support a woman's right to choose, but are personally opposed to having an abortion themselves.

I commend you for being mature enough to recognize the difference between legality and personal morality. I only wish there were more people out there who could put aside their own stigmas long enough to consider the positions and rights of others.

Absolutly. I am prochoice but not pro abortion. The gov. is continuing to invade our personal decisions on a daily basis and our right to choose is paramount for a democratic society; however, with our freedoms come responsibilities. Abortion itself is immoral and any one engaging in sexual activity has a responsibility to society and to themselves to take the necessary precautions to prevent unwanted pregnancys....

I think that it makes sense. You don't support abortion, but you support a woman's right to choose to have an abortion. Interesting point of view.

No, it doesn't make sense. I understand where you are coming from, but the statement I am pro-choice, but against abortion makes no sense. Sorry. I am very against pro-choice!

makes sense to me... but I already thought the same way. those who don't feel similar will not get it... nuanced positions don't go over well these days, I'm afraid.
