I've seen a lot of studies that show that children are too busy, but recently I caught part of a news story (can't remember the station) that was talking about a study that said it was good for children to be constantly busy. I'd like to find that study and any other study along those lines.

It's a new study conducted by the Society for Research in Child Development.

Basically, busy kids tend to get straight As, go to college, and less likely to take drugs.

Here's your link to that story, by ABC news

Actually studies show that kids need down time, just like adults. Even a study that shows that kids need to be active will show that they need this time to themselves also.
