Did you know that our intentions create the world we see around us? Did you know that they are what make you a powerful being? They are just as powerful if you pay attention to them, than they are when you are not. So many people in the world say that we don't have a world of good around us, but did you know that the people that say that are unaware that they intend for the world to be bad? Or NOT GOOD? If you pay attention to your intentions, then you can change them. And you will eventually change the world around you, and how you view it. Think about it.

Yup, your perception is every thing. Do you see the cup as half empty or half full? Some people just need to change their world viewing glasses though that is easier said then done.

Blah~~~~~~ I know that but it is dangerous to the individual who does not think on it. It means that it is not society that has to change but the individuals within society that have to change. Here the problems come up when people start looking at that with rose coloured glasses, or a Pollyanna viewpoint. Then there are the sceptic's who believe that but also believe it will never happen anyways, so why bother and this view is held by way too many people.
We have apathetic people who will embrace that but nothing will be done about it.
The ones who don't believe this are the nails that keep this one small truth stuck to the floor.

Interesting question ....Yes its true that we become what we think or how we intent ourselves to be . We as people can certainly influence so many things around us from our family,friends,co-workers,etc,etc....Whether in a good way or bad way the powers of intention can deeply change the circumstances of any situation.....World events and issues have been created or dismissed for this very reason!!
Religion,Wars,Business,Media,TV,Movies,etc...it touches every aspect of our daily Life!!!

Yes, I was aware of that. However, we can create only OUR world. So even if I imagine the world to be an all benevolent place, that does not mean that the world will become an all benevolent place. It means that I THINK the world is an all benevolent place and my perception of it is so.

You make a good point. The problem is, those with bad intentions...well, they just don't care about philosophical concepts.

Wow, and here I sat, thinking that the Humanistic approach to psychology was dead.

Thanks for passing along the info. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to try to find someone to fill my half-empty glass.

i thought about your question and you are right. however, don't think of it as that powerful like people see what YOU want to see. people don't intentionally want to see a bad world;others make it that way.
