I'm a normal girl in a small town in Texas. My dream is to become a famous singer. I've writen about 30 or more songs and no one believes me. I wish I could become a famous singer or actress. I would like to be a Disney star but who knows. I do I know I will become famous. But how??? Please, give me some tips.

Your best bet is to get an agent. I would try a few commercial auditions and local theater first to make sure that it is truly what you want to do and to show your parents that you are really dedicated to it and then after proving to them that its not a passing stage convince them to get you an agent. Also you are going to need to get some good headshots taken of you for a portfolio for your agent. Anyways, thats jumping a little ahead. Try a few auditions first and go from there. Also singing/dancing/acting classes would be a definite plus.

Get some good friends that believe in you and that will stick with you, and have them help you pick a song that you like the most and practice until you think you are ready, the record yourself on a CD or tape (as many times as you need to to make it sound great) and send it to a recording company with a letter that has your name, phone number, address etc. so that they can contact you about it. Start at the bottom, and work relentlessly to be the best. Hook up with an agent or manager who's the real deal, not a wannabe. Be prepared for lots of rejection.

You have to have talent.
If you know you have talent and you have heard that from an honest opinion then start setting yourself out there. Singing for example; Start singing in a random place and then if your lucky a record producer might hear. >:)>

make a demo CD or tape and send it off to a record studio-or move to LA and audition for disney channel there...or go up for american idol
