I noticed that they started a common law programme that you can complete after your undergrad. I wonder if this works as the equivalent of going to a school in Ontario for a year after the completion of a civil law degree. Can anybody help me out with this information? Information on the other provinces would be useful as well.

The best thing to do would be to call the school and talk to someone lie the head of the department who runs this course and ask them if it is an equivalent or not. This way you know that the information is 100% correct and they will help you figure out what to do for it. You could also email them, just check out their school website and look under faculty for someone in that department or admissions.

Good luck
