Psychological (mental) damage is the worst, I think. Being physically bullied is bad, too, but physical wounds will heal. Sometimes emotional wounds never do.

I was bullied at school both verbally and physically and can say that the verbal bullying was worse.
Being bullied physically is bad but you get over it faster. However at 25 i'm still not totally over the damage done to my confidence by the verbal bullying.

Being bullied there is no worse mental or physical they are combined and i would say that anyone who is been bullied should now shout it out in class/ on the street/ anywhere wher people will take notice.

mental abuse is definitely worse.

if you have been bullied physically long enough you will suffer.

the worst of all is a combination of mental and physical.
the only way i know to mentally abuse someone is words.
just verbally abuse them to the point where they are going to say something back and when they do.....you just go physical on them.......especially when the bully is taller than you...

i have never been bullied in school.......thats the truth...
believe it or not i have been bullied mentally and physically in my own church by the youth pastor.... for 6 years ......this was when i was 11 .....
i finally stop going there now.... but i dont know why i didnt quit going before

I think its both mental and physical but bullying is always mental because people never talk about what they are going through as a result of something they are ashamed to discuss, such as bullying. Personally alot of things affect me mentally but I never talk about it and the physical part is self explanatory.

Mental, cos the physical scars will heal, but the mental scars run too deep to forget or ignore.

mental. I went through domestic abuse & the pyschological was much worse than the physical. He knew I loved my dogs & gave them to the humane society when I finally left him. By the time I had a place where I could take them, they were gone. E-mail me if you want to hear the rest.

I think being bullied in either sense is bad but physical wounds, although may heal, may leave mental scars that may never heal.

The old adage is sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me is a big lie

Mental scars can run very deep causing many offshoots of problems.

Mental abuse in worse as it impacts the person's sense of self-esteem and worth. Feeling valued and accepted is a deep desire for all people. When one is mentally abused, their sense of validation can diminish and it's harder to recover from the emotional wounds that are inflicted
