sure you can. they'll grow into spring onion stalks. you can use them later to spice up your soup and salad.

The seeds you can plant for next crop but if you cut them off your onions will get bigger. I cut some and save some.

Sure this is root stock you simply plant it wit the green tip above the soul as you would tulips and it will grow new onion bulbs.

Yes, plant them in the ground. You can use the greenery as chives and when the green turns brown and dies, dig them up. You will have more onions.

It'll grow but a better onion is grown from smaller seedling bulbs.
